NSIPA was developed so that if I were a chronic kidney disease patient, or had end-stage renal disease, this is the organization that I would want to take care of me.

NSIPA is built on three distinct pillars; physician aggregation, contract management and development, and care management, which drives all outcomes. With these three pillars, we believe the physicians that aggregate with us are not giving up their autonomy, and we’re not telling them how to take care of their patients. We collectively review the data metrics to help drive better outcomes. Simplicity is the key.

The average chronic kidney disease patient is on 12 to 15 medications, and has over five different doctors. You can see how patients can get lost in the coordination of their care. Having a support system like NSIPA with regular check-ins, home visits, and mental health support when it’s necessary, can provide the ongoing support necessary to help guide the patient through their journey of CKD.

Our optimal starts can keep the patient in the outpatient setting, educating them and helping them to select a modality. We can send a nurse to their home to evaluate their setting to ensure they're well trained and comfortable with their self-health management. We want to assist patients so they can continue a relatively normal or a more normal routine in this new life of CKD and ESRC.
